KABUL (Pajhwok): Two security forces and 18 militants have been killed in separate clashes in parts of the country in past 24 hours, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Friday.
Forteen rebels had been killed in Giro and Andar districts of southern Ghazni province while four others perished in Kot and Achin districts of eastern Nangarhar province, a statement from MoD said.
Among the dead rebels were Daesh insurgents, according to the statement. Two security officials also killed in clashes with militants.
