Taliban’s judge among four dead in Ghazni clash
GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): The Taliban’s judge for Ab band district of southern Ghazni province has been killed during a clash, a top police official said on Tuesday.
Police Chief Brig. Gen. Aminullah Amarkhil told Pajhwok Afghan News Qazi Mullah Abdul Shakour and three other militants were killed in security forces ambush in Spin Kali locality.
He said the security forces did not suffer causalities in the gun battle, but the Taliban rejected the killing of group’s judge.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement confirmed the death of Taliban judge Mula Abdul shkur and said he was involved in multiple incidents of insecurity and carried out judicial duties as well.
However, Taliban Spokesman Zabiullah Mijahid rejected the claim and said Mula Abdul Shkur was alive.
