Notorious Daesh commanders among 46 dead in airstrikes
KABUL (Pajhwok): Forty Six Islamic State (IS) or Desh militants, including the group’s two commanders who bombed over ten civilians have been killed in a US airstrikes in the Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Saturday.
Attaullah Khogyani, The governor’s spokesman told Pajhwok Afghan News, the two Daesh Commanders Zangal Bach and Naseer Ahmad were among 8 others militants eliminated in Mamander and Zary Bander areas of Achin district.
Zangal Bacha, the resident of Orkazi agency, was merciless Daesh commander who earlier blown up 13 civilians, including elders, with bombs.
Separately, 38 more Desh rebels were killed in US airstrikes in Achine district, said Khogyani. a huge cache of weapons belonged to Daesh was also destroyed in the air raids.
Desh rebels have said nothing about the airstrikes and killing of its commander.
