Afghan forces recognise all terror groups as bad: MoD
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Wednesday said that the Afghan security forces were fighting all terrorist groups without any differentiation.
A statement from the MoD said the Afghan forces did not recognise any terrorist group good or bad and they were fighting all rebel groups including Taliban, Al Aaeda, Daesh, Lashakar-i-Taiba, Central Asian militants, Uyghur and other similar groups.
The statement said terrorists had no religion, tribe or country and they only terrorised people to impose their own version of belief on them.
War tactics of most militants fighting against Afghan forces were terror tactics that victimized the innocent Afghan people, the statement added.
“Beheadings, suicide bombings on crowds, planting roadside bombs, kidnappings, torching schools, preventing development and welfare projects are all terrorist activities,” the MoD said.
The MoD urged all militants who call themselves Afghans to cut all ties with terrorist groups, shun violence and killing innocent people.
