Policeman wounded in Kabul explosion
KABUL (Pajhwok): One policeman was wounded in a magnetic bomb explosion in capital Kabul on Thursday, an official said.
Col. Kabir Ahmad Barmak, the 11th police district chief in Kabul, said the explosion was caused by a magnetic bomb which wounded one policeman.
The explosion took place in the limits of 11th police district at around 2:30am in front of Zamzam Market, Ajmal, a shopkeeper at Arin Market told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the magnetic bomb was attached to the police vehicle and a security official was wounded in the explosion. He did not comment about civilian causalities in the incident, but said windowpanes of the nearby markets were broken due to the intensity of blast.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
