Young man gunned down on Charikar street
CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A 23 year-old man was shot dead by his friend after a verbal clash in the capital of central Parwan province, an official said on Tuesday.
Police Chief Brig. Gen. Mohammad Zaman Mamozi told Pajhwok Afghan News Obaidullah was killed by Ajmal using a pistol in Gulighandi Street of Chaharikar City at around 8:30pm yesterday.
Obaidullah and Ajmal were selling potato crisps together on handcarts in the street when they quarreled over an issue. A furious Amjal took out his pistol and opened fire at Obaidullah before fleeing the area, he said.
Roshna Khalid, head of the agriculture institute, confirmed the incident and said Obaidullah was a second year student at the institute and was selling chips after the exam.
