Pakistan experiencing consequences of own deeds: Abdullah

Pakistan experiencing consequences of own deeds: Abdullah

Aug 11, 2016 - 17:26

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah, reacting to Pakistaninfo-icon’s accusations on Thursday, said the recent attack in Quetta City was a result of the country’s own policies.

Abdullah was addressing the second death anniversary of Hashmat Khalil Karzai, brother of former president Hamid Karzai, in Kabul.

The CEO strongly reacted to Pakistan’s military authorities over accusing Afghanistaninfo-icon and India in the recent attack in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province.

The Pakistani generals were recently told that threat was emanating from Afghan soil, which was being managed by Indian intelligence agencies. However, there was an acknowledgment that a network of ‘facilitators’ within the country provided an enabling environmentinfo-icon for the externalinfo-icon enemy, according to the Pakistani media.

Speaking at the second death anniversary of Khalil Karzai, Abdullah said Afghanistan had never been an aggressor but itself a victim of terrorism. “It is very clear those giving such statements are experiencing the consequences of their own deeds,” Abdullah added.

“Those who accuse another government should once look to themselves what they did in the past, they should think the consequences of what actions they are now experiencing.”

He said Afghanistan condemned all groups of terrorists and it would be never a strategy of Afghanistan to use terrorism as part of its foreign or regional policy.

The CEO indirectly pointed to Pakistan and said terrorism under any condition and any name should be never used for harassing neighbours.

Some countries in the past had the plan to destroy Afghanistan, but never achieved such their goals, he said.
