4 civilians dead in Kandahar roadside explosion
KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Four civilians were killed in a roadside explosion in the Maiwand district of southern Kandahar province on Friday, an official said.
Samim Khapalwak, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News a car carrying civilians struck a roadside bomb in the Shal Ghami locality early morning in which four people were killed and the vehicle was destroyed.
He said the mine was planted to target security forces but was exploded on civilians. Taliban have not spoken about the incident.
