Taliban execute 6 including 5 security personnel in Farah
FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): The Taliban have executed six people, including five security personnel, in the Bakwa district of western Farah province, an official said on Tuesday.
Deputy police chief, Col. Mohammad Ghaus Malyar, told Pajhwok Afghan News publicexecutions took place in the Juma Bazaar area of Bakwa on Monday afternoon.
He said three Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers and two policemen, who were seized from a car, were among the victims. The sixth person hanged is yet to be identified.
Security forces have arrived in the area to shift bodies of their colleagues. But the Taliban are yet to comment on the incident.
