CEO agrees to visit Islamabad at appropriate time
PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, who rejected in April an invitation to visit Islamabad, has agreed to travel to Pakistan at an appropriate time.
Pakistan’s Ambassador Abrar Hussain delivered the invitation to the CEO during a meeting on Tuesday, Abdullah’s media office said. Bilateral cooperation came under discussion at the meeting.
The CEO, thanking Nawaz Sharif for inviting him, said he would visit Pakistan at an appropriate time. Abdullah, who was scheduled to visit Islamabad on May 2-3, postponed the trip after a suicide attack in Kabul on April 19.
