13 Daesh fighters killed in Nangarhar airstrikes
JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least 13 Islamic State (IS) or Daesh rebels have killed and two others wounded in Afghan forces’ airstrikes in Achin and Haska Mina districts of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Saturday.
Hazrat Hussian Mashraqiwal, the provincial police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Afghan security forces targeted Daesh militants’ hideouts in Nari Oba area of Haska Mina district on Friday night.
He said that four IS militants were killed and two others wounded in the attack.
Meanwhile, Mashraqiwal said nine other Daesh rebels were killed in another Afghan forces’ airstrike in Mamand area of Achin district. Civilians and security forces suffered no casualties in the incidents.
Daesh did not comment on the incident so far.
