1 dead, 3 wounded in Kabul explosion
KABUL (Pajhwok): One killed and three other people wounded in a magnetic bomb explosion on police vehicle in capital Kabul early on Wednesday, an official said.
Brig. Gen. Humayon Aini, 119 police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News, the explosion took place at around 8:00 am on a vehicle belonged to 3rd police district in the Nawabad locality of Dehmazang in the limits of 2nd police district.
He said the explosion was carried out through a magnetic bomb in which police vehicle was partially destroyed.
Najibullah, the resident of locality, said one policeman was killed and three others, including a civilian, wounded in early morning explosion in the area.
According to Aini the purpose of explosion was to spread insecurity in the capital city and investigation into the incident had been launched.
