4 dead, 5 injured in Kapisa roadside bombing
MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): At least four people have been killed and five others wounded in a roadside bombing targeting a former inspector general’s vehicle in central Kapisa province, an official said on Saturday.
The provincial council head, Hussain Sanjani, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the explosion took place in Njrab district on Friday afternoon.
He said four relatives of the ex-inspector general of the Ministry of Interior, Abdul Hakim Nijrabi, were killed and five others wounded in the blast.Sanjani said that Nijrabi escaped unhurt in the attack.
However, police spokesman Nqibullah Amini said three Special Forces’ personnel were killed and a fourth wounded in the roadside bombing near Nijrab district.
On the other hand, resident, Zahidullah said a brother of lawmaker Mirdad Nijrabi was also injured in the blast.No grouph as so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
