Woman among 3 killed in Ghazni accidents
Police spokesman, Fahim Amarkhel told Pajhwok Afghan News that two cars collided on the Ghazni-Paktia highway late Friday evening.One man and one woman were killed and five wounded.
Hayatullah, one of the injured and relative of a passenger killed, said the accidents involved under-age drivers with little awareness of traffic rules. He urged families not to allow their children to drive.
A private hospital official, who wished to go unnamed, said condition of the injured was stable and they could be discharged tomorrow (Sunday).
Separately, two motorcycles collided in Khwaja Omari district last evening, said the police spokesman.One man was killed and three others were wounded.
He added the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Amarkhel said most of the accidents happened due to rash driving.
