KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Hashmatullah Shahidi and Mohammad Nabi starred in Afghanistaninfo-icon’s first warm-up against the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) X1 in Fatullah on Friday.

Shahidi smashed 69 runs while Nabi bagged captured four wickets to help their side defend a 233-run total in a low-scorer, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) spokesman said.

Farid Hotak told Pajhwok Afghan News the national squad was put in to bat first. They were bowled out with four deliveries to go, with Shahidi hitting a fine 69.

His innings stabilised Afghanistan, after the visitors slumped to 47 for 3 in the 15th over. Shahidi was lent good support by skipper Asghar Stanikzai, who contributed 31.
