Taliban’s weapons seized in Takhar: Spy service
A statement from the National Directorate of Security (NDS) said the weapons dump was unearthed during an operation by intelligence agents in the Qaroq village of Khwaja Ghar.
The dump contained 32 landmines, five cannons, three RPG launchers, three mortar rounds, 16 kilograms of explosives and three remote-control devices, the statement said.
A mobile telephone set prepared for a landmine explosion, 12 military uniforms, a box of machinegun bullets, 16 explosive capsules and some other items were also seized, it added.
