HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Four children were killed on Thursday when a bomb exploded inside a house on the outskirts of the capital of western Herat province, an official said.
The governor’s spokesman, Jilani Farhad, told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place inside the house of a local influential figure in Islam Qala township west of Herat City this afternoon.
Four children were killed and four others were in the blast, he said, adding all the victims were members of the same family and were aged between two and eight years.
