MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Two civilians were killed and scores, including an Afghan Local Police (ALP) commander, wounded in a suicide attack in the Qaisar district of northwestern Faryab province on Thursday, an official said.
Rahmatullah Qaisar, the town’s administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan Newsthe incident took place in main district bazaar at around 12 noon.
The target of the suicide attack was ALP Commander Naseer Zabit, who was wounded along with six colleagues, he said.
