KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday roundly condemned an overnight attack on the governor’s house in southern Kandahar province and ordered a probe into the incident.
The blast took place inside the guesthouse at the governor’s house at about 8pm. UAE Ambassador Juma Mohammed Abdullah al-Kabi was also in the guesthouse when the explosion happened.
Kabi was on a visit to Kandahar to participate the inauguration ceremony for an orphanage in the southern city.
