NDS personnel capture 16 Taliban in Kandahar

KABUL militants, including three notorious commanders in southern Kandahar province, a statement from the Spy-Network said on Sunday.

The three groups of the Taliban headed by Maulvi Raz Mohammad and Mullah Mirza Mohammad had been arrested on the outskirt of Kandahar City, the provincial capital.

According to the statement the captured individuals planned to attack check-posts in Dand, Arghandab, Daman and Shawalikot districts.

Militants have not yet commented about the incident.
