Withdraw forces from Afghanistan, Taliban tell Trump

KABUL.

Republican candidate Donald Trump won the United States (US) presidential election, initial polling results showed on Wednesday.

The voting process to elect new president for the world powerful country began on Tuesday morning from New York and later started in other states.

The Taliban in a statement said, “Our message to Trump is that to change America policy in a way it does not deprive other nations of their independence and pursue US interests by destroying other states.”

The statement said the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan was more vital for the Taliban, asking Trump not to win fake titles for US generals in failed war of Afghanistan and not damage America’s dignity, economy and forces by involvement in the Afghanistan war.

“Let the Afghans form their own independent government and have peaceful relations with each other and the world,” the Taliban said in their message to Trump.
