MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Commander of the local uprising movement and his seven family members have been killed in the Almar district of northwestern Faryab province, an official said on Friday.
Abdul Karim Yurash, police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the commander Sher Alam and his family members had been killed by his nephew Lal Mohammad who was encouraged by the Taliban to carry out the carnage.
