PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Tens of thousands of acres of land has been usurped by powerful individuals and ordinary people in central Logar province, a practice still ongoing, officials said on Monday.
A member of the provincial council, Mohammad Nasir Ghairat, told a press conference here that thousands acres of land had been grabbed by powerful individuals and ordinary people in the capital, Pul-i-Alam, Mohammad Agha and Khoshi districts.
He said the illegal encroachment was ongoing fast and the government should prevent it. According to him, 3500 acres of land has been grabbed . . .
