KABUL (Pajhwok): The Cooperation for Peace and Development (CPD) has implemented community based anti corruption initiative in Kabul to help the Afghan anti corruption drive, a statement from the organisation said on Wednesday.

The organisation has developed a handbook on Transparency, accountability and Anti-corruption after its finding over two-month literature review and desk study by the CPD and published in May 2017 with the financial support of Democracy International (DI)/USAID.

The handbook has been published in Pashto and Dari languages that could serve as sustainable awareness and advocacy resource for years after project closeout.

CPD is an Afghan NGO aimed at bringing positive changes in perception and behavior of Afghans as the key to ensure Peace and Development through its agreed intervention strategies including awareness raising, civic education, capacity building, advocacy, research, campaigning and service delivery.
