<p>GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Six <a href="/en/taliban" class="glossify-link">Taliban</a> have been killed in a US drone strike in the Syed Karm district of southeastern Paktia province, an official said on Sunday.</p>
<p>Police Spokesman Sardar Wali Tabasum told Pajhwok Afghan News the strike targeted a house in the Kohsen locality where some Taliban members have come together.</p>
<p>The resident of locality, who wished to go unnamed, said two members of the house were among the dead.</p>
<p>But Abdullah Hasrat, the governor spokesman, said six Taliban were killed and five others injured in the drone strike.</p>
<p>The Taliban have not yet spoken about the airstrike.</p>
