The Ministry of Energy and Water (MoEW) has announced the possibility of relatively heavy rainfall with flash floods and rising water levels in some areas of the country's River Zones.
Besides the loss of precious lives, 4,000 houses and 10,000 livestock have been perished by a recent flash floods in northern Baghlan province, an official said on Sunday.
Some organizations and renowned celebrities have expressed solidarity with Afghanistan and announced emergency cash and life-saving assistance for the flood victims in parts of the country, particularly in Baghlan province.
At least 315 people have been killed, 1,630 others wounded and 2,600 homes destroyed by flash floods n northern Baghlan province, says the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR).
After severe flooding played havoc in multiple provinces including northern Baghlan province, several rescue teams have been dispatched to the affected provinces.

Committees have been formed for the prompt delivery of emergency assistance to the flood affected people in Baghlan, Ghor, Badakhshan, Faryab and Takhar provinces, a statement said on Saturday.
