KABUL, June, 30, 2011: Brig. Gen. Aminullah Amarkhel, border police commander in eastern Nangarhar province, talks to Pajhwok Afghan News in an exclusive interview in Kabul.
Around 20 civilians have been killed and wounded in Kunar Province from recent cross-border artillery shellings by Pakistani police, Amarkhel said.
Amarkhel announced that he is resigning due to the Karzai administration's lack of cooperation in responding to the shellings by the Pakistani police.
