KABUL, Sept 03, 2011: The Smoke and flame were billowing out from burning tyres that were ablaze by the supporters of Khpalwak Lakankhel, a failed parliamentary election runner in Pul-e-Charkhi locality of Kabul.
Around 200 Lakankhel's supporters blocked Kabul-Jalalabad highway during a protest on Saturday. The protersters chanted slogans against the government and on the favour of Lakankhel.
