KABUL, Oct, 25, 2011: A number of officials from the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA) attend a press conference of the Wolesi Jirga’s Environmental Protection Commission in Kabul.
“2.5 million people from 14 various provinces were affected by drought this year,” Muhammad Saleem Kunduzi, the deputy agriculture, irrigation and livestock minister, told the conference.
