More protests against fencing JALALABAD, Jan 10 (Pajhwok Afghan News): Protesters took to the streets in the eastern Nuristan province against Hundreds of people took part in the protest rally held in Bark Matal and Kamdesh districts of the province. He said the protesters demanded of the officials to clean the roads covered with two metres snow. He said 38 kilometres road between Kashot and Chatrash villages were blocked since last month. Provincial intelligence chief Col Ghulamullah Khan told this news agency the protest was not against the Rural and Rehabilitation Department, but it was complaint against the government. He said the people were complaining against the government that they could not clean their roads in a month. However, rejecting the report, head of the Rural and Rehabilitation Department Abduraziq Sudman said they had started cleaning of roads in villages and centres today. He said previously United Nations Office for Project Service (UNOPS) under the UN had to clean the roads, but their department was doing the job.
