CHARIKAR): Intelligence operatives arrested a would-be suicide attacker in central Parwan province on Saturday, an official said.
The man was detained in the Pul-i-Muttak area of Charikar city by intelligence operatives, Parwan police chief, Brig. Gen. Sher Ahmad Muldani told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the detainee was a resident of eastern Laghman province. Documents recovered from the would-be bomber showed he intended to attack government offices, Muldani claimed.
Resident Masroor said: “There were rumours among people about the entry of several suicide attackers in Charikar and residents were concerned.”
