KABUL facilitator responsible for an Aug. 7 insider attack in Paktiya province that killed one U.S. service member and wounded three, the International Security Assistance Force said Thursday.
During the operation, Afghan troops also seized what is believed to be the attacker’s Afghan National Army identification card.
Another suspected insurgent was also arrested.
No further details were provided.
Insider attacks have led to the deaths of more than 50 ISAF soldiers this year. In the most recent incident, a man in Afghan National Police uniform shot and killed two British soldiers in Helmand on Tuesday.
