KABUL had signed with foreign countries, including one with the UK on training Afghan security forces.
The other two accords have been signed with Indonesia and Denmark, said Najiba Hussaini, a member of the house international affairs commission.
She said the strategic agreement between Afghanistan and Indonesia was about strengthening bilateral cooperation on governance, security, culture and political fronts.
Under the agreement signed with Denmark, she said both countries would cooperate with each other in ensuring good governance, strengthening security and cultural and political affairs.
She said the agreements were not about interfering into each other’s affairs, but to share advises on issues of mutual interest.
Humira Nimati, another member of the commission, said the UK would send 121 mentors to train Afghan army recruits in the newly-established military academy in Kabul under the agreement.
A lawmaker from eastern Nuristan province, Hazrat Shah Nuristani, said the matter of legal jurisdiction over the British trainers should be made clear in the text.
Hussaini said the UK could not take any military advantage from the Kabul academy, where only Afghan soldiers would be trained.
She explained the immunity issue of UK army trainers would be resolved in agreements to be inked later.
A majority of the upper house members endorsed the three agreements under article 90 of the constitution. Afghanistan has signed such agreements with a number of countries.
