LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Five Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers and four militants have been killed in separate security incidents, officials said on Sunday.
The soldiers were killed in different parts of the country over the past 24 hours, a statement from the Ministry of Defence said, without giving details.
In southern Helmand province, two fighters were killed and a third injured during a clash with the army in the Babaji area of Lashkargah, a military spokesman said.
Another two insurgents were killed when the bomb they were planting went off prematurely in Nad Ali district, he added.
