KABUL (Pajhwok): Four Afghan National Army (ANA) officials and three civilians including a child were injured during an explosion in the Arzan Qimat locality of Kabul on Saturday, an official and eyewitnesses said.
The blast was triggered by explosives placed on a footpath in the 12th police district at 6:30am, Gen. Zahir Azimi, the defence ministry spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Hazrat Gul, an eyewitness, told Pajhwok Afghan News three people, including two children, were wounded in the blast.
The incident happened near a post office, leaving three persons, including two children wounded, he said, adding that the injured were instantly evacuated to a hospital for treatment.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bomb blast.
