GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): The transport director for southern Ghazni province has been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen, the governor’s spokesman said on Wednesday.
Shafiqullah Nang told Pajhwok Afghan News that Director Ahmad Wali left home along with “some friends” two days back and there had since been no clue to his whereabouts.
Col. Asadullah Insafi, the deputy police chief, confirmed the incident, saying they had launched an investigation. Motive behind the kidnapped remains unclear.
Some days ago, the militants had kidnapped the Ghazni haj director, whose dead bpdy was later found in central Maidan Wardak province.
