KABUL (Pajhwok): Eng. Mohammad Khan, a key aide to Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah, said on Friday building peace and stability was among the top priorities of the unity government.
In astatement from the CEO office, Khan underlined the peace imperative at a meeting with tribal elders, jihadi commanders and youth from the Jaghto district of central Maidan Wardak province.
The unity government was striving to keep the promises it had held out to the masses, he said, adding people’s support was of paramount importance for the sitting government to deliver.
He said a strategy was being devised to resolve the pressing problems being faced by the nation, including the creation of job opportunities for youth.
