At meetings with tribal elders and lawmakers, Ghani said international aid should be utilised judiciously to the advantage of the country and the common people, according to the Presidential Palace.
“Now all aid and assistance from the global community is secure but the key point is that aid should be used cautiously,” a statement from the palace quoted the president as saying.
Ghani claimed winning support from the international fraternity and that he was striving to introduce a new cabinet in the next three weeks.
He said the views of religious scholars and tribal elders were of immense importance to efforts at promoting the supreme national interest.
