Apr 13, 2015 - 21:29

ASADABAD (Pajhwok): A recruiter for the Pakistani Talibaninfo-icon has been detained in eastern Kunar province, an official said on Monday.

The Pakistani national was detained by a special police force in the Dangam district, Kunar police chief Abdul Habib Syedkhel told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He said the detainee, Sher Ali, a resident of Pakistaninfo-icon’s Mardaninfo-icon district, was currently being investigated.

Sher Ali, who introduced himself to Dangam residents as a doctor and had opened a clinic there, had been luring the youth to join the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) outfit.

Some Taliban propaganda literature was also recovered from him, the police chief said.
