In response, Bangladesh managed to score 205 runs in their first innings, thanks to Rashid Khan’s five-wicket haul. Nabi, Yamin and Qais also shared one scalp each.

Bangladesh were already 137 runs behind when the day three game began. At today’s play, Afghanistan scored 237 runs in their second innings for the loss of eight wickets.

Ibrahim Zadran scored 78 runs and Asghar Afghan scored 50 in the second innings.

Afghanistan set the hosts 374 runs target with two wickets in hand in their last innings.

Chasing over 350 will be difficult for Bangladesh and Afghanistan have a lethal bowling attack which Bangladesh may not be able to face.

Thus statistics show Afghanistan are enjoying upper hand in the only test match against the Bengal Tigers.
