KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): At least 63 people were killed in attacks across Afghanistaninfo-icon during the past week, says a media report.

From November 1 to 7, 29 pro-government forces and 34 civilians lost their lives in Afghanistan, The New York Times reported.

The newspaper said the deadliest attack happened in the Khwaja Bahauddin district of northern Takhar province.

At least eight soldiers and one policeman were killed in a five-hour clash with the militants, according to the daily.

Most of the security incidents took place in Baghlan, Badghis, Balkh, Faryab, Kunduz, Khost, Kandahar, Paktia, Kunduz, Paktika, Badakhshan Province and Zabul provinces.
