Takhar accident claims two lives

KUNDUZ CITY (PANinfo-icon): Two people were killed and 11 others wounded when a speeding flying-coach flipped over in northern Takhar province on Saturday, an official said.

The accident happened in Khokh Sai area of Kulfagan district, Takhar Governor Faiz Mohammad Tawhidi told Pajhwok Afghan News. Police and locals took the injured to the Takhar Civil Hospital.

Deputy Director of Public Healthinfo-icon Dr. Mohammad Hassan Baseh said five of the slightly wounded people were discharged from hospital after being administered first medical aid.

Baz Mohammad, who witnessed the accident, said the vehicle flipped over as a result of high speed. He gave no further details.
