KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): A security guard killed two foreign soldiers working with NATOinfo-icon-led mission in the country's south, the alliance said on Saturday.

'Two international security assistance forces service members died in southern Afghanistaninfo-icon following a shooting incident with a security guard," International Security Assistance Force (ISAFinfo-icon) said in a statement.

The statement did not provide further details, but said the incident was currently under investigations.

Troops from the United States, United Kingdom and Canada are stationed in southern Afghanistan. More than 140,000 international troops are currently fighting Talibaninfo-icon insurgents who have been waging a bloody war since 2001.
