TIRINKOT (PAN): Unidentified gunmen killed a child and wounded three others in Tirinkot, the capital of central Uruzgan province, an official said on Saturday.
The body of an 11-year old child and three wounded people, including a minor, were brought to Uruzgan Civil Hospital, an official at the Tirinkot Civil Hospital told Pajhwok Afghan News. The injured are in stable condition.
But the Uruzgan police chief, Col. Fazal Ahmad Sherzad, said the gunmen opened fire on two people who were going to a mosque at 5am, killed one of them and wounded another in the Metak area.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
