1st women’s gym opens in Jawzjan

SHIBERGHAN (PAN in northern Jawzjan province was inaugurated in Shiberghan, the provincial capital, on Wednesday evening, an official said.

Two female trainers would impart fitness training to women at the USAID Mamoor Siddique told Pajhwok Afghan News at the inaugural ceremony.

The US agency would pay the club’s expenses for four months, said Fatima Rasouli, in charge of the gym. She hoped they be would be able to meet their expenditure after four months.

Members would pay no registration or training fee for two months, she said, adding the trainees would have to pay after June.
