Suicide bombers strike logistic convoy in Greshk

LASHKARGAH (PAN-led troops in the southern province of Helmand on Tuesday, officials said.

The heavy explosion took place at 10:30am in the Firqa area of Greshk district, witness Hidayatullah told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Afghan and International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) soldiers cordoned off the area, said the witness, who had no information about casualties.

The suicide attack was carried out by two motorcyclists, who blew themselves up near the logistic convoy, said the district police chief, Capt. Zmaray Khan. Two guards of the convoy were injured in the attack.
