5 mine planters killed in Zabul airstrike

QALAT (PAN-led troops killed five alleged mine planters in the southern province of Zabul, an official said on Thursday.

The air raid targeted the five when they were busy planting roadside bombs in the Shahr-i-Safa district late on Wednesday night, the district chief, Khadi Khan, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

The airstrike was carried out in the Khar Balagh area.
