CHAGHCHARAN (PANinfo-icon): A district police chief and his two colleagues were injured when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb in western Ghorinfo-icon province, an official said on Sunday.

A civilian was also injured in the blast that took place in the Charsadda district on Saturday, said provincial police chief, Gen. Khuda Yar Qudsi.

The Charsadda district police chief and two other policemen and a civilian were injured in the incident, he said.

The injured were taken to a district clinic, he said, adding the police chief and another policeman were in a critical condition.
