Baghlan collision claims 4 lives

PUL-I-KHUMRI (PANinfo-icon): Four people were killed and seven others, including five policemen, injured in a traffic accident in northern Baghlan province on Sunday, an officials said.

The incident took place at about 2:30pm in the Charshanba Tepa area of Baghlan-i-Markazi district, where a police pick-up collided with a car, a traffic department official told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Lt. Col. Zabihullah said the injured were evacuated to a provincial healthinfo-icon facility. He blamed the accident on reckless driving.

Of the seven injured people brought to hospital, two were in serious condition, said, Dr. Khalilullah Naramgo, in charge of the surgery ward.
