ISLAMABAD (PAN-led airstrike in the Mohmand tribal region.

Saturday’s predawn attack killed 24 Pakistani soldiers and injured 13 others near the border, prompting Pakistan‘s future in Germany.

Soon after the incident, Pakistan stopped supplies to Afghanistan-based foreign troops through the Torkham border and gave the US a 15-day ultimatum to vacate a base in Balochistan province.

Also on Tuesday, the International Security Assistance Force said an investigation into the airstrike was yet to be completed. ISAF spokesman Carsten Jacobson said it was premature to say anything about how and why the incident took place.

The Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad said President Karzai expressed his grief over the death of the Pakistani soldiers.
